How the system works
Pump draws water
The SC050 pulls water from the pool through the skimmer and suction lines.
Filter traps debris
Water passes through the sand bed in the T450, where debris is captured.
Chlorinator sanitises
The SSCnano8 produces chlorine from the salt in the filtered water.
Clean water returns
Filtered, sanitised water flows back through the return inlets.
Who it's for
Ideal for residential pools holding 10-30 m³ of water (width × length × average depth) that want soft, easy-care water.
Installation notes
- Install in this order: pump filter salt chlorinator, with the salt cell last before water returns to the pool.
- Have the full 75 kg of sand for the T450 (65 kg in the set + 10 kg extra). Fill the tank about halfway with water before pouring to cushion the laterals.
- Backwash the new sand before normal filtration to flush out fine dust.
- Make sure flow through the chlorinator is at least 3 m³/h, then add salt as specified in the SSCnano8 manual.
- Electrical work should be done by a qualified electrician, with an RCBO/RCD breaker and proper earthing.
Maintenance
- Test pH 1-2 times a week and keep it around 7.2-7.6 so the chlorine works effectively.
- Check salt levels per the manual and top up when they drop, such as after heavy rain or adding fresh water.
- Backwash when the pressure gauge reads noticeably higher than when clean.
- Polarity reversal reduces scale, but still inspect the cell periodically per the manual.
- Empty the 2.5 L pump basket and skimmer baskets regularly.
