WINWINPOOL POOL PAINT SYSTEM 50SQ200 MICRONS is a complete swimming pool paint kit for a painted area of approx. 48-50 m², or a reference pool of about 3 × 7 × 1.3 m (approx. 30 m³), depending on the shape, depth, steps and details of each pool.
The system is applied in 5 coats: 2 coats of Concrete Sealer epoxy primer, 2 coats of Unithane W-4000 polyurethane topcoat, and a final protective coat of W-4000 Clear a target total dry film of approx. 200 microns.
Quantities include an allowance for mixing, surface absorption and application losses. Suitable for new concrete pools or existing pools that have been correctly prepared.

How to Calculate Area and Paint Quantity
Walls: (3 + 7 + 3 + 7) × 1.3 = 26 m²
Approx. total: 47 m² + steps and other parts
Total approx. 11.36 L
For 2 primer coats over approx. 4850 m²
W-4000 Clear A+B: 2 sets (6 L) for 1 coat
Includes an allowance for mixing, containers, rollers and absorption
Formula: approx. painted area = floor + walls + steps and other parts. Very rough or porous surfaces, complex shapes, many steps or benches, or poor thickness control may require extra paint.
Film Thickness Control
WFT = 40 ÷ 0.55 73 microns per coat
5 coats total: ~200 microns
Check with a wet film comb during application, and confirm each product's volume solids from its latest technical data sheet.
Surface Preparation and Moisture Limits
- New concrete should cure for at least 28 days, with no hydrostatic pressure behind the coating
- The surface must be sound, clean and dry free from dust, oil, grease, algae, efflorescence and deteriorated old paint
- Sand or grind the concrete to open the surface for good adhesion
- Repair cracks, pinholes and joints before starting
- Remove all sanding dust and clean the surface thoroughly
- Measure moisture at several points, especially the floor, corners, deep end and repaired areas

Never paint on wet surfaces, areas with seepage, surfaces with condensation, or concrete that has not fully cured.
Mixing A+B Coatings and Using Thinners
- Stir Part A until uniform before mixing
- Add Part B at the ratio on the product label
- Mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer, including the bottom and sides of the container
- Mix only what you can use within the pot life
- Never split Parts A and B by eye
- Never add extra A or B later to extend the life of mixed paint
Add thinner only as needed for the application method, weather and product guidance. Over-thinning can cause thin film, runs and reduced performance.

- Wear gloves, goggles, a vapour respirator and suitable protective equipment
- Avoid skin contact, inhalation and ingestion
- Do not paint in rain, fog, dew or high humidity
- Never use the wrong thinner, and never pour mixed paint back into the original can
- Quantities and times are references and may vary with site conditions
- Actual colour may differ from on-screen images check a colour sample before ordering
- Check the label, mixing ratio and latest technical data sheet before use
Not covered: damage from structural cracking, hydrostatic pressure, excess moisture, improper surface preparation, incorrect mixing ratio, wrong thinner, unsuitable water quality, or misuse.
