Installation Options
Install in the return line after the filter, before water flows back to the pool. Two wiring options are supported.
With Dry Contact
Link the Dry Contact signal to the pump and/or pool cover so chlorine is produced only while the pump runs. Best for pools with a control panel or automation system.
Without Dry Contact
Power the unit through an RCD and circuit breaker, working together with the pump timer. Best for standard pools without a central control system.
Electrical installation should be carried out by a qualified technician, including an RCD as shown in the manufacturer's wiring diagram.

What pool size is the EC Ultra X suitable for?
There are 6 models for pools of 60, 80, 100, 120, 150 and 200 m³ (V15, V20, V25, V30, V40 and V50 respectively). Choose a model with 20-30% extra capacity.
Can I control it from my smartphone?
Yes. With the Tuya app you can switch the unit on/off, adjust chlorine output and check pool status. OTA firmware updates are also supported.
What protection features does it have?
Low-flow shut-off, water temperature alerts, salinity monitoring and automatic polarity reversal to reduce calcium scale.
What is the recommended salinity?
2,700 - 4,500 ppm. When salinity is low, the unit calculates how much salt you need to add.
Do I need to add cyanuric acid?
For outdoor pools, the manufacturer recommends keeping cyanuric acid at 25-50 ppm to help protect chlorine from sunlight.
