️ Basic Installation Steps

Prepare the Installation Area
Choose a location with sufficient space, good ventilation, and close proximity to the pool. The area must accommodate the 16" Sand Filter tank and the 0.5HP pump.

Install the Pump and Filter Tank
Mount the 0.5HP pump and 16" Sand Filter on a stable base. Connect the 1.5" inlet and outlet pipes correctly. Fill the filter tank with 0.51.0 mm filter sand (35 kg bags) before first use.

Install Valves in the Pipe System
Install the Laswim 3-Way Ball Valve 1.5" for flow direction control, the ERA Compact Ball Valve 1.5" for shut-off, and the ACE UPVC Spring Check Valve 1.5" to prevent backflow.

Connect the Maximus MS050 Salt Chlorinator
Install the Maximus MS050 Salt Chlorinator (5 g/h output) into the pipe system after the filter tank and before the water returns to the pool. This ensures every cycle of filtered water is disinfected before re-entering the pool.

Install the Control Panel and Electrical Wiring
Install the control panel set (supports 1 pump + 1 salt chlorinator). All electrical wiring must be carried out by a licensed electrician in compliance with national electrical installation standards.

System Testing and Calibration
Run the pump and filter system with water to test operation. Check all connections for leaks. Adjust the salt chlorinator settings as needed and verify the chlorine level in the water before use.
Maintenance Recommendations
Weekly
Test chlorine levels (13 ppm) and pH (7.27.6). Adjust to keep values within the recommended range.

Backwash the 16" Sand Filter to remove trapped debris and restore peak filtration performance.
Salt Top-Up for Maximus MS050
Maintain pool salt level at 3,0004,000 ppm to ensure the MS050 consistently produces 5 g/h of chlorine.
Annual Inspection
Inspect the 0.5HP pump, seals, valves, and Spring Check Valve for wear and tear. Replace any components showing signs of deterioration.
