Error Codes and Troubleshooting

Check the error code displayed on the control panel and follow the recommended troubleshooting procedure.

Code Meaning Possible Cause or Note Recommended Solution
E1 Heat-sink temperature is too high
  • The heat-sink temperature is above the normal operating range.
  • The unit must be removed for inspection.
  • Check whether error code E6 is also displayed.
  • If E6 is displayed, inspect the temperature sensor and replace it if defective.
  • If E6 is not displayed, inspect the control board for a possible fault.
E2 Pool-water temperature is too high The standard operating water-temperature range is approximately 1045°C.
  • Check whether error code E7 is also displayed.
  • If E7 is displayed, inspect the water-temperature sensor and replace it if defective.
  • If E7 is not displayed, check whether the pool-water temperature is within the standard range.
E3 No water inside the salt-cell housing Adequate water flow through the salt-cell housing is required during normal operation.
  • Check whether water is present in the circulation system.
  • Check whether the cell housing is completely filled with water or contains trapped air.
  • If the cell housing is full, remove and clean the water-level sensor.
E4 Pool salt concentration is too high The recommended salt concentration is approximately 3,500 PPM. Test the salt concentration with a suitable salt meter. If the reading is above 3,500 PPM, partially drain the pool and add fresh water. Once the salt level returns to the recommended range, the error code should disappear and normal operation should resume.
E5 Pool salt concentration is too low The recommended salt concentration is approximately 3,500 PPM. Test the salt concentration with a suitable salt meter. If the reading is below 3,500 PPM, add the calculated amount of salt to the pool. Once the salt level returns to the recommended range, the error code should disappear and normal operation should resume.
E6 Internal control-board temperature sensor fault The unit must be removed for inspection. Check the sensor response. If the sensor does not respond, replace it with a new sensor.
E7 Pool-water temperature sensor fault The unit must be removed for inspection. Check the sensor response. If the sensor does not respond, replace it with a new sensor.
E8 Input voltage is too high or too low The unit must be removed for inspection. Replace the power-supply unit.
E9 Output current is too high or too low The unit must be removed for inspection. Contact an authorised dealer for a detailed inspection and repair.
EA Sensor fault The unit must be removed for inspection. Check the sensor response. If the sensor does not respond, replace it with a new sensor.
EB Data-storage IC fault The unit must be removed for inspection. Contact an authorised dealer for a detailed inspection and repair.
EC Circuit-detection system fault The unit must be removed for inspection. Switch the unit off and then restart it. If error code EC continues to appear and the unit does not operate normally after several restart attempts, contact an authorised dealer for inspection and repair.

Safety Notice

Always switch off the system and disconnect the electrical power before inspecting, removing or servicing the unit. Problems involving the control board, electrical system or internal circuitry should be inspected by a qualified technician or authorised dealer.

Kindly perform the following checks: Ensure that the pool circulation pump is operating. Verify that all relevant valves are fully open. Clean the pump strainer basket and the skimmer basket. Release any trapped air from the pump housing. Inspect the flow sensor to confirm that it is clean and unobstructed. If the issue persists after completing these steps, please inform us and we will arrange for a technician to conduct a detailed inspection. Thank you."**
