Hayward AquaRite 900 Shows Pcb With 4 Warning Lights: What Does It Mean?

If the display shows Pcb and all 4 red/yellow lights are on together, the manual indicates the unit has detected a main PCB (circuit board) fault. Contact a technician or service center.

The 4 Warning Lights

No Flow
Check Salt
High Salt
Inspect Cell

When these lights come on together with the Pcb code, treat it as a circuit board fault, as described in the manual. Dont interpret it as separate flow and salt problems all happening at once.

What to Do

1

Photograph the display and status lights

Make sure the Pcb code and all 4 lights are clearly visible, so a technician can do an initial assessment.

2

Provide equipment details

Send the unit model, cell model and what happened before the problem, for example after a power outage or during normal use.

3

Contact a technician or service center

Have the circuit board and electrical system inspected to assess repair or parts replacement based on actual condition.

Adding Salt Wont Fix This Code

Even though the Check Salt light is on, dont add salt to try to clear Pcb without a proper inspection.

Switch off the breaker before opening the unit or doing maintenance. Circuit and electrical inspections should be done by a technician.

While the unit is faulty, test the chlorine level with a test kit and have your pool caretaker adjust maintenance based on the results.
