The Foot Valve functions as a non-return valve, preventing water from flowing back from the pump into the Surge Tank. It is essential for drawing water from sources located below the pump level and ensures the pump intake remains primed (preventing dry running).

The valve is constructed from U-PVC, providing strength, resilience, and durability against chemicals. It features EPDM grade O-Rings, which offer excellent chemical resistance and retain high flexibility even at low temperatures. The entire unit is designed to be corrosion-resistant.
