วาล์วหัวกะโหลก ทำหน้าที่เป็นวาล์วตัวปิดกั้นน้ำไม่ให้ไหลย้อนกลับจากปั๊มน้ำลงสู่ Surge Tank ใช้ดูดน้ำในระดับที่ต่ำกว่าปั๊ม และยังใช้เพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้หน้าปั๊มแห้ง ผลิตจากวัสดุ U-PVC ที่มีความยืดหยุ่น แข็งแรงทนทานต่อสารเคมี และ O-Ring เป็นเกรด EPDM ที่มีความยืดหยุ่นมากในระดับอุณหภูมิที่ต่ำ ทนทานต่อสารเคมีได้ดี มีคุณสมบัติที่สามารถต้านทานการกัดกร่อน
