5000 Granular coal based activated carbon
8x30 mesh 5000 is a high activity granular activated carbon made from a selected grade of bituminous coal. It is produced under rigidly controlled conditions.
It's superior hardness ensures negligible losses during backwashing and air scouring.
The carbon has a good dirtribution of macropores and micropores. Consequently, it is highly suitable for the removal of chlorinated solvents, taste and odor compounds and dissolved organic compounds in potable water treatment and wastewater treatment.
