VariFlo Valve

The VariFlo Multiport Valve is an essential component installed with swimming pool filters. It is designed to control the flow direction of the water, adapting to the specific operational mode required. The built-in handle allows you to conveniently switch between different filter functions all from a single unit.

Application

• Designed for use with swimming pool filters (Sand / D.E. Filters).

Features (VariFlo Valve Functions)

• FILTER – For normal filtration and vacuuming the pool.
• BACKWASH – For cleaning the filter bed by reversing the flow to flush out accumulated dirt and debris.
• RINSE – Used after backwashing to flush out remaining dirty water from the valve and to settle the filter bed.
• WASTE – Bypasses the filter completely. Used for draining the pool, lowering the water level, or vacuuming heavy debris directly to the waste line.
• RECIRCULATE – Circulates water directly back to the pool, bypassing the filter. Ideal for quickly distributing pool chemicals.
• CLOSED – Completely shuts off flow from the pump to the filter.
• WINTER – Used for winterizing the equipment (Available on SP0714T model only).
